· When buses don’t turn up, passengers are often given no explanation or notice. Why is there no reliable communication when a service is cancelled or delayed?
· The Arriva app regularly shows buses that never arrive or disappear from tracking altogether. Why does this keep happening, and when will the app be fixed so it accurately reflects the buses on the road?
· When services fail, it’s often those with no other transport options - especially young people, older residents, and those travelling to work or hospital appointments - who are most affected. How is Arriva taking their needs into account when planning improvements?
· When buses are missed, passengers sometimes have to wait over an hour for the next one. Will Arriva review the timetable to ensure there’s at least a backup option or additional service at peak times?
Colburn
· Many residents in Colburn report buses simply not turning up, leaving people stranded, sometimes for long periods. What is causing these no-show services, and what immediate action will Arriva take to stop this happening?
· Some Colburn residents have said they’ve stopped using Arriva altogether because of the unreliability. What is Arriva doing to rebuild public confidence in its service?
· Can Arriva confirm whether Colburn has a specific local operations manager responsible for service reliability, and if not, will one be appointed so there’s local accountability?
